Summary:
The Analyst-Business Development's key responsibilities include supporting the Business Development team and will be responsible for researching, analyzing, modeling future growth opportunities, and preparing presentation for management. As a member of the Business Development team, responsibilities will include identifying revenue enhancing opportunities for our NGL and Refined Products Assets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Create detailed economic models to assess deals, including optimization options, synergy capture, and capital needs.
* Conduct Market analysis for potential targets including competitive behavior and alternative strategies.
* Conducts "due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
* Prepare analysis and presentation of business cases for proposed projects to present to the Business Development team.
* Analyze statistics on facility usage and revenue generation to ensure optimal usage of terminal and pipeline assets.
* Support Business Development managing customer relationships.
* Identify new customers to form strategic partnerships and business alliances.
* Maintain detailed knowledge of the customer contracts to assist the customer and operations in ensuring adherence to the terms.
* Support internal customers including engineering, operations, finance and accounting.
* Assists with budgetary development and preparation efforts.
* Overnight travel may be required
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Finance or Business Administration
* Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication, and computer related skills (MS Word, Excel & Power Point) including SAP, preferred.
* The ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
Preferred Experience:
* Budget preparation & forecasting analysis.
* The ability to develop various ad hoc management reports.
* Strong Math Skills.

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
- The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
- The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
