We are currently hiring a Utilities Process Engineer in Breinigsville, PA.

We are looking for a skilled process engineer to help develop and oversee the achievement of company-wide sustainability goals by improving the usage and efficiency of the Utilities operations. The ideal candidate can build a plan through data analysis, process knowledge, and execute through a collaborative approach with both internal and external customers and suppliers.

What You'll Brew:

  • Provide process engineering support in brewery Powerhouse (steam boilers, high voltage maintenance, NH3 refrigeration, air compressors, Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Process Water / Water treatment technologies (CF/Membrane Filtration), and Effluent / Wastewater Processes.
  • Track and report on utilities usage and cost performance and initiate processes/projects to control/improve them.
  • Utilize standard CI/Lean methods (following BBC Improvement processes) to achieve goals and close gaps in performance (RCA, Cause and Effect Diagram, 5 Why's, 6W2H, DMAIC, etc.)
  • Analyze data and coordinate with department owners to identify usage trends and to develop performance improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership to solve medium to long-range process-based problems in Packaging, Brewing, and Utilities operations.

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in Engineering, Utilities, or Service Industry preferred
  • Proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teambuilding skills
  • Bachelor's in engineering
  • Knowledge of electrical power distribution
  • Working with high voltage switchgear and perform medium and high voltage switching

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience with CMMS systems a plus.
  • Knowledge and practice of NFPA 70E
  • Knowledge of Anhydrous NH3 refrigeration. Active participant in Process Safety Management program.
  • Belt methodology and/or lean methods experience a plus
  • Knowledge of the OSHA Safety and Health regulations a plus
  • Knowledge of PLC (Allen Bradley / Modicon) and PLC programming a plus

Level 7

In accordance with pay transparency lawsthe salary range for this role if hired is $53,040.00- $114,400.00 annually* based on location** and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Certain sales positions are also eligible for car allowance.
