The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's Bureau of Bridges is seeking a student intern to learn about and participate in work involving real-world situations and design, fabrication, and inspection procedures.
In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating bridge data in the department's databases. You will also be required to assist the Bureau in its efforts to stay updated on policy changes from the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO). You will complete assignments for our Bridge Inspection Section, Bridge Design Quality Control Sections and/or assist the Structural Material Division in processing fabrication imaging and contribute to publication updates.
This internship will allow you to develop your technical skills, apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects, and work alongside engineering professionals who are passionate about innovation and excellence.
