Earn $16.41/hour.

***Successful candidates will be eligible for a sign on bonus of $250 and a continuing retention incentive bonus up to $250 per quarter (depending on start date) through December 2023, in accordance with the terms of Merakey's Incentive Compensation Plan.

Position Details

This role provides flexible, community-based services that are designed to promote the empowerment, recovery, and community integration of individuals who have mental health challenges and possible physical disabilities. Outcomes are reached by:

• facilitating opportunities for individuals receiving services to direct their own recovery and advocacy process.
• teaching and supporting the acquisition and utilization of skills needed to facilitate the individual's recovery.
• promoting the knowledge of available service options and choices and the utilization of natural resources in the community.
• helping facilitate the development of a sense of wellness and self-worth.

REQUIRED:

• Possess personal experience helping a child (own child, family member, etc.) navigate the behavioral health system and have the ability to utilize their unique recovery experience to provide opportunities and supports for children and/or adolescents facing similar challenges.
• Knowledge of behavioral health, long-term support and service systems, and resources in greater Philadelphia
• Ability to document effectively to meet policy and standards.
• Strong time management and organizational skills

PREFERRED:

• Peer Support Certification
