Position Summary:

The primary purpose of the Laboratory Assistant is to provide support to laboratory testing personnel under the direct supervision of a General Supervisor. Primary duties include specimen collection, specimen processing, maintenance of equipment, and waived or moderately complex testing. Compliance to all laboratory, safety, and regulations are required.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science required.

Experience:

Previous laboratory experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure Registration:

BLS/CPR within six months of hire required.

Skills and Abilities:
