We are hiring an Outside Sales Representative in Pittsburgh, PA- Local and existing territory~

FCX Performance/an Applied Industrial Technologies company is the premier distributor of highly engineered products and lifecycle services to MRO and OEM customers across diverse industrial and process end markets.

As a Sales Representative with Simco/a division of FCX Perfromance, you will spend your time interacting with your customers in determining their process flow control and instrumentation needs, while providing solutions/services to meet those needs. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and sales results!

Responsibilities:

• Retain customers while developing new business and build repeat sales within a local territory.
• Technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and lunch & learns.
• Be strategic, organized, and technologically savvy in your approach to managing your sales territory.
• Maintain sales records, pipeline reporting, and generate relevant sales and market reports on a quarterly, annual, and as needed basis.
• Responsible for helping set sales target goals and marketing strategy.

Position Requirements:

• Proven outside sales within the industrial marketplace.
• Valve-instrumentation-flow control knowledge preferred!
• Self-motivated & aggressive in sales tactics and strategies; desire to close sales!
• Computer proficiency including MS office, SAP/ERP/P-21 a plus!

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Industrial Distribution, Engineering & Management, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or Sales/Marketing; equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
