Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Nursing Supervisor/Registered Nurse and in collaboration with other members of the Patient Care Team, assists with the direct day to day care of patients and families. Performs a variety of non-patient care duties. Responsible for providing and maintaining positive interactions with every patient/family/visitor encountered. Provides populations specific care to meet the developmental needs of those patients served.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED,
• Basic Life Support or acquire within introductory period
• Skilled at understanding and applying patient age specific needs
• Skilled at demonstrating and implementing all core and job specific competencies/behaviors
• Ability to apply technical skills and demonstrates appropriate interpersonal skills
