The OB Tech will scrub for surgical procedures for C-Sections and will provide personal care and comfort to patients in the Delivery Room. When the Operating Rooms are quiet, you are trained to provide patient care for new moms / moms-to-be. Additional responsibilities will include: restocking supplies, cleaning and preparing rooms, transporting patients, and completing tasks for the health care team.

Position: OB Tech
Shift: Night, 7pm-7am, 3x12 hour shifts per week.

Experience:
Previous Surgical Tech or Patient Care Technician experience preferred

Education:
Successful completion of a surgical technologist program sponsored by an entity holding nationally recognized institutional
or programmatic accreditation, or through the US Army, Navy, or Air Force.

Licensures/Certifications:
1. Certification preferred, if surgical technician training occurred on or before 12/29/2020 and candidate
practiced clinically at any time during the two preceding years.
2. Certification required if surgical training took place on or after 12/29/2020
