Currently, we are seeking a full time Housing Resource Specialist to work in our Homeless Services Case Management Division. The ideal candidate for this position will assist with source marketing affordable apartments for independent living.
Responsibilities include record-keeping, and may assist with lease renewals, budgets, implementation and management of information systems related to housing. This position will also; * Assist participants in maintaining clean safe apartments. May assist with cleaning, purchase of furnishings and procuring necessities (e.g telephone, bedding, dishes, cleaning supplies, etc.) * Responsible for assisting with housing operations for program apartment management including. * Responsible for compliance on all governmental housing regulations and issues such as HUD, RDA State, Local and Federal. * Responsible for lease management and monitoring. * Assist with developing, implementing and monitoring of program policies, procedures and operations. * Conduct initial assessments to collect participant information in order to develop comprehensive histories. * Serve as liaison between participants, landlords and support staff. * Participate with planning sessions and committees both within the Homeless Services Division, the Agency and external entities. * May be scheduled to provide off hours on-call support to participants. |
