Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem
Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital
Philadelphia, PA


As a per diem, nonexempt,CPS Solutions, LLCPharmacy Technician at Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital you'll (Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist) assist in various pharmacy activities related to preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications. Other duties include maintaining patient records and setting up packaging, and labeling of medication doses and billing. You will perform job duties under minimal supervision within pharmacy standards, written procedures and guidelines, and state regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for the accurate completion of daily activities and the follow-through of tasks to ensure completion.

Schedule: This position can work up to 19 hours per week, and will provide coverage "as needed". This position has no regularly scheduled hours.

About the Facility:Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospitalis an acute treatment facility for adults, adolescents, and children located in the Philadelphia suburb of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, on a wooded 11-acre campus. The 146-bed facility provides a safe and comfortable environment for patients suffering from mental illness and behavioral disorders. Brooke Glenprovides patients and their families with the resources and support they need to address acute life crises or behavioral health disorders standing in the way of a peaceful and productive life. Their mission is to deliver high-quality, effective behavioral health services with compassion and respect for patients and their families. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
  • PALicensure/Registration/Certification requirements
  • Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written
  • The ability to feel comfortable interacting with patients suffering from a mental illness

Hospital Requirements:

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Covid-19 Vaccination - Full (required)
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse Registry
  • ePatch
  • FBI Fingerprinting
