Job Description


Work actively together with the Aerospace Factories to maintain and improve the Aerospace Factories Supply Chain processes and performance.


  • Drive initiatives to improve the standard Factory Supply Chain processes.
  • Ensure fit for purpose processes in the areas of Manufacturing and Supply planning, Master scheduling, MRP and Procurement.
  • Drive the adherence to standard processes in close cooperation with the Aerospace BU's.
  • Drive the implementation of the SKF New Supplier Delivery concept when/where relevant, in close cooperation with Group Purchasing and Aerospace BU factories.
  • Manage the target setting process and monitor the performance of the Factory Supply Chain processes.
  • Provide expertise / Support the Aerospace Manufacturing Factories in Factory Supply Chain processes and systems. May, at times, lead improvement projects to concrete results in timely manner.
  • Participate in common SKF initiatives and activities in the Factory Supply Chain area, possibly represent Aerospace Business Unit in relevant SKF forums in the Factory Supply Chain area.
  • May represent Aerospace Business Unit in IT transformation projects, for example, UNITE or "new" ERP implementation projects (XA template).
  • Support the Aerospace Business Unit Demand Chain Manager to effectively run quarterly forecast and Yearly Business plan processes.
  • Support the standardization of the systems and boost the digitalization


  • Ability to define system and process configuration based on Factory flows, conditions and constraints.
  • Good knowledge in SKF Data warehouse solutions and ability to create advanced reports.
  • Proficiency in any other Business Intelligence / Data discovery tool is a plus (QlikView, Power BI...).
  • Fluent in English / comprehensive verbal and writing skills in English.
  • Available for frequent traveling (mostly regionally).

  • Strong planning and project management skills.
  • Strong enthusiasm, communication skills and ability to influence without reporting line authority.
  • Good understanding of the SKF Channel Concept and Production System and its implications for the Supply Chain configuration and processes.
  • Thorough knowledge of the SKF Factory Supply Chain processes through operational experience.
  • Good knowledge of the main SKF Factory Supply Chain systems on the mainframe and/or midrange platforms with ambition to develop expert knowledge.
