Position Summary: Responsible for a wide variety of human resources tasks and projects across the core functions of HR: employee relations, performance management, recruiting & onboarding, and HR processes and facilitation.
Provides HR guidance to team members and managers across the full life-cycle of HR. Addresses HR-related inquiries from all levels of employees.
Partners with first line managers to provide employee relations advice as well as guidance on policy and procedure. Coaches managers and employees.
Applies critical thinking to automate and reduce administrative tasks.
Works with managers and supervisor to develop and maintain position descriptions to ensure proper alignment within the organization and refreshes position descriptions regularly.
Maintains and ensures accuracy for necessary employee paperwork, records and files.
Participates in recruiting efforts including attending recruiting events, interviewing applicants, reviewing requisitions, applications, background clearances, and record keeping.
Supports the delivery of ad-hoc projects throughout the year which will include research, analysis, communications and annual process improvement recommendations.
Participates in and supports employee activity committees such as wellness and ESOP initiatives, including employee communications.
Participates in annual compliance filing processes, audits, and compliance testing by providing data, analyzing data, and submitting data as directed and within required deadlines.
Provides assistance during annual open enrollment process, supports employee benefits communications, and reviews and processes benefits invoicing. Interfaces with benefit vendors to resolve any issues.
Manages unemployment claims administration and ensures timely response, reviews monthly UC charges, and attends UC hearings as needed.
Administers the tuition reimbursement program to included updating procedures and forms, verifying eligibility, ensuring all documentation and supporting documentation is complete, and submitting reimbursement requests to accounting.
Assists in the employee performance management and compensation cycle.
Assists with the planning and coordination of company events including visitor events.
Supports the updating and communication of company personnel policies, procedures, and regulations. Performs audits regularly to ensure compliance.
Performs other duties as assigned to support company objectives.

Experience managing a wide variety of HR related functions in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in HR or other related field
Certification: PHR or SHRM-CP
Three plus years of experience, preferably in an electrical / mechanical manufacturing or similar environment.
Experience in a business environment that has grown and changed rapidly is a plus
Ability to anticipate problems before they happen, seek ways to continuously improve our work, and have a sense of urgency
Natural ability to be organized in thinking, communicating, and conducting work
A curious mindset that allows you to learn and challenge the status quo
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between Lititz and Lancaster locations as needed
Office environment; Physical: Lift, push, pull-up to 30 pounds
9/80 Hours: 7:00 – 5:00 Monday through Thursday, 7:00 - 4:00 every other Friday, occasional backshift hours as needed
