The TSS Strategy and Product Management team sets the product direction for the global multi-billion-dollar office printing supplies portfolio (toner cartridges and related consumables).
As a Portfolio Analyst based in Boise Idaho, you will apply your expertise in organizing and visualizing information and data to improve product strategies and business outcomes. You will work alongside a team of Product Managers to lead key analysis projects spanning the portfolio.
Assessing portfolio line logic including product specifications and pricing attributes to ensure logical product differentiation and customer buy-up and buy-down options.
Analyzing customer behaviors (ex. printing behaviors, market share, purchase choices) to identify trends, regional variations and identifying areas for further investigation.
Review product performance relative to expectations, across generations and compared to adjacent products in the portfolio - to increase business understanding and improve predictive models.
Develop standardized analytical views and tools supporting product management processes to ensure consistency in the use/application of data across the team.
Develop analytical models in support of new business ideas, new business models, and to understand business tradeoffs and choice points.
Represent the data/information needs of the Product Management team with key partner organizations (ex. Big Data team, Insights team, Forecasting team, etc.).
Education and Knowledge Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Finance/Engineering/Data field.
2 to 5 years related work experience
MBA a Plus
Strong business acumen. Understanding of business models, pricing and financials.
Proven analytical skills. Ability to assemble and frame data to inform decision making including Excel modeling and visualization (and/or related applications).
