Job Description

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads multiple large projects and programs with global and cross-organizational program teams on needs assessment, intervention selection, design, development, implementation, reporting, and continuous innovation and improvement of learning solutions.
  • Contributes to the development of strategy for projects and programs that impact multiple businesses.
  • Manages program lifecycle from strategy development to implementation.
  • Accountable for operational goals and the management of financial planning including cost-benefit analysis, strategic budgeting, and tracking/reporting.
  • Develops and or assists with development of new methods and processes for improving program operations.
  • Helps ensure alignment of program priorities with business and L&D strategies.
  • Stays abreast of current market or technology trends, provides guidance, consulting and expertise for other project
  • Collaborate with other program managers as well as throughout the organization.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree, advanced university degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 6-8 years experience, including managing large projects.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Learning and Development professional experience with adult learners.
  • Capabilities and knowledge in subjects of technical skills and digital skills (i.e. AWS, Robotics Process Automation, Big Data, etc.)
  • Advanced project management and strong program management skills.
  • Advanced facilitation and consulting skills.
  • Advanced business, financial planning acumen, data insights.
  • Strong leadership, communication, change management, and project management skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including competency in vendor management and cultural awareness.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive learning solutions.
