As Import/Export Specialist, you will manage the import/export processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. and foreign government laws and regulations. This will include completing the paperwork and associated transactions necessary to distribute parts and equipment to meet customers' delivery expectations. You'll conduct pre-clearance reviews of shippers' documentation and post audit reviews in compliance with Harsco governance policies. Determine USHTS and ECCNs for parts / equipment / kits, and maintain code compliance information in the ERP system; qualify items (BOM's) for NAFTA and other Free Trade Agreements and Country of Origin determination, and you will document and implement import and export procedures.

About you:

You will bring a HS diploma/GED with 8+ years, OR a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years; experience in import/export including USHTS classification and NAFTA qualification, AND experience with regulatory and licensing compliance related to EAR and ITAR

A Bachelor's degree in International Business, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or other related field, in-depth knowledge/experience with product eligibility for NAFTA and other free trade agreements. Experience preparing Duty Drawbacks, documenting EMCPs, and conducting Export Compliance self-assessment are desired. Export Certification or Licensed Customs Broker is a plus
