Responsibilities

We are looking to hire Productions Associates for our Murrysville, PA manufacturing plant.

 

Working hours are 3rd Shift 10:00pm-6:30am Monday through Friday

 

Starting pay $23.36/hr. 

 

The responsibilities of this position are primarily to:

  • Assemble, modify, rework, and repair SCBA accessories such as: clear command, HUDs, power modules, and control modules
  • Utilize and refer to  drawings, assembly instructions, and specifications to perform assembly operations
  • Identify assembly problems and make minor repairs
  • Perform visual inspections.
  • Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in computer system.

 

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in soldering
  • Proven ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures
  • Proven ability to understand standard units of measure and to set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices  
  • Ability to regularly perform work that requires magnification is required
  • Strong manual dexterity for use of tools and performing work on small components requiring  fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness
  • Ability to visually and mentally concentrate for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to regularly perform work that requires magnification and distinguish among different color coatings on wires
  • Ability to perform standard software operations.
  • Ability to infrequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance.
  • Proven ability to use power and hand tools, and custom tooling.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporary agency assignments
  • Ability to work in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
  • Ability to wear safety glasses ANSI Z87 approved, steel toe shoes and other PPE as required
