POSITION SUMMARY


William Charles is in search for a staff Accountant. This position will focus on preparing key reconciliations, analysis of key general ledger accounts, working with equipment division, and overall financial statement integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and process electronic cash transactions from bank accounts daily
  • Work with equipment division regarding fixed asset accounting and additions/disposals
  • Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts monthly
  • Record monthly journal entries for several companies
  • Analyze monthly credit card spend
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY:

  • Extensive general ledger accounting, processing,  analysis and reconciliation
  • Must be very organized & detail oriented
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting processes and internal controls
  • Proficient computer skills, with an emphasis in Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

 

EXPERIENCE: 

  • 1 to 3 years experience is required.
