Furnace Technician
Penn United Technologies, Inc. is now hiring for a full-time Furnace Technician to work at our rapidly growing Carbide facility. Responsibilities:
- Operate and check furnace, grinder, & other equipment needed in carbide manufacturing process
- Check equipment for proper maintenance and preparation before starting each job
- Prioritize, plan and prepare work; sort jobs by due dates and complexity of tasks
- Read and study blueprints
- Gather proper amounts of supplies to complete each job
- May be responsible for sandblasting carbide components
- Inspect parts for conformance to customer specifications
- Perform general cleanup duties in work area.
