We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to join our Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Team located in Colonie, Syracuse, Brooklyn, Rochester, NY OR Parsippany, NJ.

CHA creates state-of-the-art mechanical systems that prioritize energy efficiency without sacrificing strength or ramping up costs. Our team consists of industry leaders who have valuable hands-on experience as plant managers and engineers in industrial settings. We offer complete mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering and design/construction services for companies throughout the manufacturing sector as well as a variety of public, private and institutional clients. Our professionals will perform a thorough analysis of your systems and utilize proven methods to optimize performance.

The Electrical Engineering Manager is an important technical leadership position at CHA and plays a major role in ensuring we achieve our goal of Responsibly Improving the World We Live In.

A successful Electrical Engineering Manager is measured by their team's technical quality, achievement of team utilization targets, and ability to motivate their team to go above and beyond. Other duties include effectively managing project budgets as well as organizing, directing, and coordinating activities associated with the project scope of work.

The right individual for this position will have experience with building design electrical engineering, project documentation, and managing, mentoring, and developing junior staff in a collaborative team environment.

REQUIREMENTS
    A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience is required; previous project or team management experience preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
  • Ability to demonstrate technical proficiency in his/her respective discipline.
  • Ability to resolve matters timely and lead projects to completion with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, build, and manage relationships across the company.
  • Experience with project budgeting preferred.
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of accounting processes.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the discipline's technical processes.
