YOUR IMPACT

Aviation

For more than half a century, CHA has provided planning, design, construction, and asset management services to the nation's top airports. Through this work on countless aviation projects totaling hundreds of millions of dollars, we have built strong working relationships with the FAA and state transportation offices. We have an in-depth understanding of state and federal regulations as well as the technical requirements and challenges faced by modern airports. Our clients have confidence in our work, often engaging us in multi-year term and on-call agreements. They appreciate our focus on minimizing disruptions to operations while maximizing airport revenues.

Land Development

With thousands of land development projects completed across the country, CHA has the permitting, engineering and construction experience necessary to expedite project approvals and deliver projects on time and on budget. CHA has completed over 2,000,000 square feet of shopping mall and free-standing retail space in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, hundreds of projects for leading retail clients, dozens of national restaurant and hospitality clients and a myriad of apartment complexes, entertainment venues, pharmacies, convenience stores and other private development projects.

Transportation

Transportation is the movement of people and goods between locations. Safe, efficient and effective transportation systems enable mobility and trade, both of which are essential to social and economic development, improvement and advancement. CHA aims to enhance our nation's infrastructure, ensuring goods are shipped, safety and services provided, and the economy vitalized. Our transportation specialists plan, design, and help maintain and construct our nation's most valued infrastructure assets by providing solutions for public and private transportation owners, agencies and authorities in more than 16 states.

Water/Wastewater

Ensuring water is clean and safe is one of the most important services that each community can provide. To that end, CHA has developed thousands of water-related projects, each taking into account our clients' unique environmental, water quality, permitability, and funding concerns. Our resume covers hundreds of projects, miles of pipelines, acres of treatment ponds, and an army of satisfied clients. Within our ranks are true experts - professionals able to assess, plan, design, and construct the required infrastructure. Our comprehensive water-related offerings extend from CSO and stormwater solutions to dam safety, solid waste, wastewater treatment, and water supply services.

REQUIREMENTS
    Working towards a Civil Engineering degree
  • Attending a full time matriculated and nationally accredited Bachelor or Graduate program.
  • Completed one full year of college (rising sophomore).
  • Candidates going into their junior or senior year of college are preferred.
  • May 2023 graduates will not be accepted for CHA's Internship program.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD preferred.
  • Must possess the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills required.
