Our summer program aims to prepare students for the professional working environment and provide them with the best resources to be successful in their future careers. Over the 8 to 12-week duration of CHA's summer internship program, our interns participate in authentic learning experiences that help them improve and develop skills.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA creates state-of-the-art mechanical systems that prioritize energy efficiency without sacrificing strength or ramping up costs. Our team consists of industry leaders who have valuable hands-on experience as plant managers and engineers in industrial settings. We offer complete mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering and design/construction services for companies throughout the manufacturing sector as well as a variety of public, private, and institutional clients. Our professionals will perform a thorough analysis of your systems and utilize proven methods to optimize performance. Software utilized includes Revit, Cloudworks, Algor Pipe Stress Analysis, Trane Trace modeling, Elite Fire & ACAD.

REQUIREMENTS
    Working towards a Mechanical Engineering degree
  • Attending a full time matriculated and nationally accredited Bachelor or Graduate program.
  • Completed one full year of college (rising sophomore).
  • Candidates going into their junior or senior year of college are preferred.
  • May 2023 graduates will not be accepted for CHA's Internship program.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD preferred.
  • Must possess the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills required.
