Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Works within a matrix model to develop/enhance the Breast Cancer Program and services. Administers details of key components of the Program: including patient amp; physician access, clinical service coordination and follow-up, community outreach, and quality amp; accreditation. Administrates the Jefferson Kimmel Cancer Center Network (JKCCN) including recruitment and maintenance of its membership with regard to breast cancer care, clinical research and educational activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Effectively works with physician leaders to develop operational priorities consistent with Service Line strategy.
  • Works with system and divisional leadership to define specific goals and measure the effectiveness and success rates of the relationship sales effort.
  • Works with regional PRMs and leaders to determine priority growth areas and target providers.
  • Manages processes to change resource allocation in support of identified priorities.
  • Directs, plans and manages the activities of the Breast Centers at all locations
  • Organizes and coordinates services, oversees operations and manages and assigns resources to support the delivery of clinical services.
  • Ensures the PRM team has defined geographic targets and can effectively develop and maintain relationships with physicians/providers by direct communication to generate new referrals, increase care retention and achieve volume and utilization targets.
  • Performs reviews of business operations; develop recommendations and implements to optimize the efficiency of the Centers.
  • In coordination with Jefferson Leadership, manages the financial performance of the Centers
  • Develops and implements annual marketing strategies, objectives, and tactics as well as establish a communications plan.
  • Implements tactics in cooperation with the internal team.
  • Maintains and monitors budgets for assigned plans and projects and oversees and monitors ROI.
EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

BA/BS required; BA/BS in Medical Administration preferred

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years in Medical Administration required, experience in Oncology setting preferred

Prior cancer program development experience preferred
