The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems while working with a high level of autonomy and flexibility. The Electrical Engineer will work from the Allentown, PA facility. • Mentoring, training, and supporting plant electricians, line mechanics, and plant leadership by sharing your knowledge on how to rapidly debug and diagnose problems with can-making equipment to avoid negative impacts on product quality and throughput
• Developing, and debugging new products, production equipment, and manufacturing lines
• Assisting plants and OEM suppliers/vendors in the identification and debugging of mechanical production problems toimprove line efficiencies, increase product quality, increase production capacity, and eliminate repetitive work-related injuries

We need you to have:

• A bachelor'sdegree in electrical engineering; will consider the experience in place of a degree
• 5+ years of electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of PLC based controls experience programming Allen-Bradley / Siemens PLC's, HMI's, Servo & Inverter drives
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging electrical controls, servos, inverter drives, and PLC platforms, including but not limited to Allen Bradley
• Proficient in MS Suite, AutoCAD skills
• Electrical software experience with RS Logix, Studio 5000, or FTV Studio desired.

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the year, overnight stays often required
