SUMMARY OF POSITION
We are seeking an experienced Site Foreman, Utility Foreman, and Grading Foreman for our growing site work teams and pipe crews. The Site Foreman requires experience in bulk dirt excavation. The Grading Foreman must have experience in rough and fine grading. The Utility Foreman requires knowledge and experience in installation of water, storm and sewer piping. Successful candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of applicable field leadership experience, have knowledge of reading blueprints, and the ability to manage a job efficiently.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Effectively lead, manage and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individuals
- Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors
- Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications
- Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials and equipment needed to complete the job
- Responsible for completing daily time sheets and maintaining daily logs
- Operates equipment in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures when necessary
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of all aspects of earthwork
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience
- Ability to read and follow construction site drawings, blueprints, diagrams and specifications is preferred
- Applicants should possess knowledge of underground utility installation, excavation regulations, and pipeline safety for the Utility Foreman position
- Knowledge of GPS equipment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
