What you’ll be doing...

A Verizon Business Architecture Principal Consultant is someone that does not simply see the problems of today, but rather anticipates the challenges of tomorrow and the impact these challenges will have on businesses. They are the consultants of the future. They see how technology 2-5 years from now will change the way businesses and people connect and engage with each other. A Business Architecture Principal Consultant is a broad thinker and a self-motivator. They are someone that has the creativity to develop ideas on their own, and then work collaboratively to evolve these ideas into reality. They are a leader and a consensus builder. The role is simple; lead Verizon and its customers into the future.

• Developing and utilizing specialized knowledge of industry-specific and cross-industry strategies.

• Help clients understand and evaluate the business and operational impacts new technologies such as 5G, Multi Access Edge Computing, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality will have on business processes and capabilities.

• Work with their clients to develop, evaluate and prioritize use cases that address the business challenges of tomorrow.

• Works with their clients to develop strategies which optimize business processes and capabilities as well as leverage new technologies to produce improved business outcomes and engage with customers in new ways.

What we’re looking for...

You have expertise in the development of Manufacturing vertical specific business cases while helping their clients identify funding source(s) for recommended strategies. Additionally, you have expertise at developing presentations and reports as well as communicating at an executive/board level.

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Six or more years of relevant work experience.

• Six or more years of business architecture experience in conceptualization, definition and development of business processes related to IT-based products, services and solutions.

• Five or more years of project management experience with accountability for end to end delivery.

• Experience developing and implementing Vertical solutions for Manufacturing clients.

• Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

• In-depth technical expertise in 5g, Edge Computing, Cloud Computing, AI, data analytics, AR/VR/MR.

• In-depth experience in technical consulting/advisory/strategy position supporting Fortune 100 companies at multiple interface levels (C-Level etc.).

• Experience with presenting technology strategies and market direction.

• Six or more years of experience implementing Manufacturing vertical solutions.

• Five or more years of executive consulting experience.

• Experience with business case development.

• Financial analysis experience (ROI, cost analysis, business case development, etc).

• Excellent presentation and verbal skill set.

• Masters in engineering, computer science or business administration.
