Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

The Senior HR Associate along with his/her Local US Sales HR Client Facing colleagues is responsible and accountable for HR Support to Pfizer Innovative Health (PIH) & Pfizer Established Health (PEH). The HR BOS Client Facing will work in close partnership with the Sales Leadership, Divisional HR, Enterprise HR (TOPS & Compensation) to ensure programs and processes delivered are aligned with Business strategies and HR priorities. This includes launching new programs aligned with HR strategy in a manner effective for the business, advising and coaching managers, and includes driving execution of annual processes (e.g., performance management, compensation cycle, talent management), managing career events in the employee lifecycle from on-boarding through off-boarding.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to Workforce Analytics, Sales Reorganizations, On-boarding / Off-boarding Colleagues, and Workday / Sales Organization Manager Data Integrity all with the focus of championing the overall US Sales Client Facing concentration on coaching, consultation, and strategic implementation of new HR programs and Sales Initiatives while ensuring alignment across Pfizer.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides coaching, advising, training & support of field business leaders, managers, colleagues and functioning bodies to include business as usual activities as well as business structure redesign projects. Innovates methodology in doing so, ensuring change agility.
  • Contributes to the success of each US Sales Reorganization/ Realignment as well as consideration to any greater Pfizer HR initiatives by ensuring alignment of people management & sales position management systems.
  • Manages the annual PIH / PEH Career Progression PHR & SHR In-Role Promotional Program (Financial impact ~ 1.5 million annually) in partnership with supporting systems & third party vendors
  • Manages US Sales Job Loss Notification Process & Dashboard in cooperation with downstream functions i.e. Coordinating Office, Wheels/Fleet, Marketing/Promotional Materials, BT (Technology & Equipment), Incentive Compensation, etc.
  • Accountable for the communication and delivery of the Starter Compliance Performance Management Coaching Letters - due to multiple irreconcilable inventory results in partnership with Starter Administration, Employee Relations & Compliance/Legal
  • Facilitates the implementation of Workday, processes, and programs for assigned client groups (i.e. Terminations, Business as Usual Transactions, Support of New Managers).
  • Drives standardization and consistency of approach to HR across assigned client groups.
  • Facilitate new manager onboarding presentation, highlighting key HR processes, programs, and resources
  • Accountable for the management and integrity of colleague movement in our Sales Organization Management System in partnership with appropriate stakeholders to ensure minimized impact to end-user/client groups.
  • Responsible for Affirmative Action Reporting, presentations to Leaders, as well as partnering with Sales Client Facing HR and compliance legal for training
  • Responsible for Sales LTI process (manual process not currently within Workday functionality), compensation ad hoc reporting, and compensation data quality (i.e. correct attributes, titles, etc.)
  • Identifies opportunities for continuous process improvement and proactively implements in partnership with Sales Client Facing HR and enterprise groups.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS required.
  • Minimum 3 years of Human Resource experience with demonstrated increase in responsibility. Must have experience in a professional capacity.
  • Solid expertise in HR technical skills and core HR competencies with experience in communicating, training, and supporting colleagues of all levels with the purpose of driving productivity and improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software for office productivity with direct focus on Microsoft Excel mastery (formulas, conditional formatting, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and respond back in a timely manner
  • A strong sense of business ethics including the ability to appropriately handle confidential information
  • Ability to execute initiatives in a timely manner with high quality
  • Ability to learn and understand the business and is motivated to continue learning
  • Experience in performance management, process management, and coaching.
  • Workday knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of other HR systems and on-line tools a plus.

This position is a remote role with the colleague working from a home based location. Must have access to regular/consistent internet provider. Must have the ability to simultaneously multi-task across multiple capabilities and functions and handle multiple competing priorities and requirements, including responding to frequent e-mail and phone communications and attending multiple conference calls. Must have the ability to work effectively under and manage to strict production, time and performance deadlines.
