The mission of The Abuse Network, Inc., is to assist and educate victims and community members about violence and abusive behaviors to promote a more peaceful, violence-free community. All Abuse Network services are provided without regard to age, sex, national origin, religion, race, handicap, marital status, or sexual preference.

The mission of the Alice Paul Institute is to promote full gender equality through education, development and empowerment of leaders. The legacy of Alice Paul provides the foundation and the beacon to develop critical leadership skills and inspire others to become agents of positive change.

The Alle-Kiski Area HOPE Center, Inc. (HOPE) works to safely eliminate the incidence of violence through direct services and community education and collaboration.

Angels' Place, Inc. is a total family development program for single, low-income, full-time student parents and their children. Since 1984, we have provided these services at no cost to families enrolled: early childhood education, parenting classes, career exploration, tutoring, counseling, referrals and assistance with practical needs such as food, clothing and nursery supplies. Our goal is to enable student parents to complete their education, secure lucrative employment and become independent, successful members of our community.

AWARE is committed to providing education, support and advocacy for all people in Mercer County impacted by domestic, emotional, and sexual violence.

Crisis Center North is committed to assisting victims of domestic violence in our community through a variety of resources and confidential services. The Center provides free empowerment counseling and advocacy to adult, teen, and child victims of domestic violence in the northern and western communities of Allegheny County. Crisis Center North also provides educational programming to community and school programs.

The Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County empowers and advocates for those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault and other violent crimes. We inspire and educate citizens to create safer communities and break the cycle of violence.

The Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence is a statewide, non-profit organization of domestic violence agencies and individuals working to eliminate domestic violence through: Acting as an educational and informational resource to our member agencies and the community; Advocating for domestic violence concerns in Delaware; Providing a strong, unified statewide voice for victims of domestic violence and their children, domestic violence programs, and victim service providers.

The Maryland Department of Human Resources is the state's human services provider. We help vulnerable Marylanders buy healthy foods, pay energy bills, and obtain medical assistance.
