| Description | Geologist/Environmental Scientist for projects which include observation of drilling activities (soil, groundwater, well installation), soil and groundwater sampling, soil excavation/removal, remediation, air monitoring and contractor supervision. Conducts analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assists in the preparation of service deliverable documents. Performs scientific assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures including assessing soil and ground water analytical data for comparison with applicable regulations, data compilation and report preparation, assisting project management and proposal development. Works independently on small projects or assists more senior scientists on larger projects. Some travel is required. |
| Requirements | Bachelors degree in Geology or Environmental Science. 0-3 years of experience preferred. Prior experience with field work and different environmental remedial technologies is a plus. Proficiency with MS Office programs. Strong writing skills are a must. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidate should be experienced in working in a team environment. Hazwoper 40 hour certification is a plus. GIS and CADD skills are a plus. |
