We have an exciting opportunity for a Heart Walk Fundraising Director to work out of our Baton Rouge Office. Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with corporate partners and selling one of our major events, the annual American Heart Association Heart Walk.
Responsibilities Include:
. Setting and meeting aggressive fundraising goals
. Securing corporate sponsorships and employee fundraising teams
. Recruiting and coaching corporate and community volunteers and committee members
. Interacting with executive level corporate leaders
. Daily travel throughout the Baton Rouge Market area.

Qualified candidates will have a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience. 2-3 years prior outside business-to-business sales and/or fundraising experience. Must be an effective communicator and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Preference to be given to those with prior professional fundraising experience and/or knowledge of the Baton Rouge business market.
